Terms of service
LUMERIIA JEWELRY · TERMS OF SERVICE
Last updated: 5 October 2026
Quick links: Payment · Delivery · Returns · Contact
1. About the store
These terms cover shopping at lumeriia.co.za. The seller is LUMERIIA JEWELRY (PTY) LTD, trading as Lumeriia Jewelry. Shopify provides our ecommerce platform; your jewellery purchase is from our company. Read the purchase information and applicable policies before checkout. Ask customer care if you need a term explained.
2. Ordering and accounts
You must have the legal capacity to make the purchase or the consent and assistance required by law. Provide accurate contact, billing and delivery details, and use a payment method you are authorised to use. Protect any customer-account access and report suspected unauthorised activity so we can investigate.
3. Jewellery descriptions and sizing
Check the metal, finish, stone type, dimensions and size listed for the item you choose. Cubic zirconia is not represented as diamond, and a plated finish is not represented as solid gold. Photographs can be enlarged and screen colours can vary, but the supplied piece must still match its description. A ring-measurement guide helps with selection without guaranteeing a particular fit.
4. Prices and payments
Prices and payments are in South African rand (ZAR). The total, applicable taxes and delivery charges must be disclosed before purchase. Standard shipping within South Africa is free as described in our shipping information. Use the payment methods actually offered at checkout. Provider terms may apply to a payment option. We do not retrospectively increase an accepted purchase price because catalogue prices change.
5. Promotions
Eligibility, expiry dates, exclusions and any minimum spend are stated with the offer. A discount applies under those conditions. Keep a copy of an offer if you need help applying it. An email-marketing subscription can be cancelled separately and does not affect an existing order or its statutory protections.
6. Confirmation and unavailable items
We acknowledge an order after checkout and check payment, stock and delivery details before fulfilment. If we cannot supply a piece, detect a material listing error or cannot authorise payment, we will explain the problem and available options. We will not substitute a materially different product or charge more without agreement. Payments taken for goods we cannot fulfil and cancel will be refunded. These steps do not remove rights already established by an accepted purchase.
7. Delivery and order changes
We currently serve South African delivery addresses. Read the delivery information provided before purchase for preparation and transit estimates. Notify us promptly about an address error or change request; a change may not be possible after dispatch. We will investigate delayed, damaged or missing parcels. Using a courier does not remove obligations that the law places on our company.
8. Returns and refunds
Our Return and Refund Policy sets out the voluntary 30-day offer, return arrangements and processing estimates, alongside statutory protections. Monetary refunds are not replaced with compulsory store credit where a refund is legally due. Contact us for the correct return destination; the company address is not automatically the return warehouse.
9. Care and safety
Follow the care instructions for your piece and consider known metal sensitivities before wearing it. Keep jewellery and small components away from young children. Care instructions do not exclude remedies for a manufacturing defect or replace our obligation to supply goods meeting applicable quality and safety requirements.
10. Appropriate website use
Do not use the store for fraud, impersonation, harassment, malicious software, bypassing access controls or obtaining another customer’s private information. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect people or systems. An access restriction does not cancel an outstanding refund, delivery obligation or statutory remedy.
11. Brand content and customer reviews
Our own original brand materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Commercial reuse requires the appropriate permission. Reviews should reflect your own experience; submit only media you may lawfully share. A review submitted for publication may be displayed with the review name and media you choose. Private support messages are not published as reviews without consent. We may remove unlawful, abusive or misleading submissions, but do not remove a review simply because it is critical.
12. Privacy and communication
Our Privacy Policy explains customer-information handling. Order and service messages use the details supplied with your purchase. Marketing consent and unsubscribe choices are separate. Do not send complete card details, security codes or passwords by email or WhatsApp.
13. External services and availability
Optional payment or other external services may have their own terms; read them before choosing the service. An external link does not mean its operator is part of our company. Maintenance or technical problems may interrupt the website. Contact customer care for assistance with an existing order. We remain responsible for obligations that applicable law places on us.
14. Consumer rights and responsibility
No term excludes a mandatory consumer protection, a statutory warranty or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Goods are not subject to a blanket “as is” warranty exclusion. We do not require you to indemnify us for our own negligence or unlawful conduct. Claims are assessed on the facts and applicable law. South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act and Electronic Communications and Transactions Act may give you additional remedies.
15. Complaints and governing law
Send your order reference, a description of the issue and the outcome sought to customer care. South African law governs these terms, subject to mandatory protections. You may approach a relevant consumer authority, ombud, tribunal or court. Contacting our team does not waive those options or impose compulsory arbitration.
16. Changes and interpretation
The revision date identifies this version. Updates apply to future purchases and do not retrospectively remove rights or change agreed conditions of an existing order. If a clause cannot lawfully be enforced, remaining provisions continue only to the extent permitted by law. Not exercising a right on one occasion does not necessarily waive it. These terms do not exclude a binding representation or statutory protection.
